Trailbuilding

Comrie Croft Bike Trails are looking for volunteers - can you help?

Comrie Croft Bikes Trails are now into our second year of building a purpose built set of trails on our 300 acre site just outside Comrie, near Crieff, in Perthshire.

We are always on the lookout for willing volunteers to help us out with a little bit of trailbuilding. Our main track is now open to the public, with around 6km of red/black graded, very natural, technical singletrack trail. Our objective over the coming months is to upgrade sections of this existing track, to provide some gentle alternatives to some of the hairier lines.

We usually build on Saturdays and the work is very much weather permitting over the winter months. If you choose to get involved, there is great scope to add your own input to the design of the trails - for example we have recently had a group of students from Perth High School who have designed and built a new section of trail as part of the Dynamic Youth initiative, so the scope exists for you to get as involved as you like!

If any of this sounds up your street, drop me a line - colin@comriecroft.com. We are looking for anyone who has spare time on their hands and who would enjoy spending some time out of doors, in the beautiful Perthshire countryside,  helping us with what is becoming an excellent maze of trails open for public use.
