Our Paintshop Partner

If your bike is needing some cosmetic attention, or if you are looking for a brand new look for your steed, we have teamed up with Central Cosmetics bike & Car Restoration to offer you a full one-stop-shop painting service. We will dismantle your bike, send it to the paintshop, and reassemble it following the paintjob. The quality of the painting is second to none, and it is a prefect chance to give your tatty looking favourite ride a new lease of life. Painting FAQs

What frame matrials can be painted?

Eddie will turn his hand to any material, Steel, Alluminium, Carbon, Titanium, Magnesium, if you ride it, it can be painted

What preparation is done to my frame?

There is no shotblasting done, sanding is performed to achieve the smoothest finish possible. If necessary, a paint stripping tank is used. All frames are washed in a solvent cleaner prior to painting.  All threads are blanked off prior to painting, and chased upon reassembly. All painted surfaces are faced following the paint application, where appropriate.

What else can be painted aside from Frames?

Bars, Stems, Rims, Fork Lowers, Fork Steerers, Rocker Arms. If you have something you want painted, just ask

What kinds of paint finishes can be acheived?

Most paint styles can be provided, solid or metallic colours, fades, flips, pearls, flakes. If there is a specialist look you are aiming for, come and talk to us, or enquire below.

How long does a paintjob take to turnaround?

The painting usually takes around 3 days, depending on jobs waiting. If you are using our strip and reassembly service, we usually recommend allowing a week or so to have your bike back together.

Can you do graphics?

Yes, we can arrange for reproduction decals to be fitted, or your own custom decals

What costs are involved?

The cost varies according to the complexity of the job. An example price would be a hardtail bike, stripped and painted in a single solid or metallic colour, reassembled with new cables, for about £150 plus the cost of the paintwork, which can be around £100 upwards.  Please get in touch to enquire about what your requirements are.
