All our coaches will carry their own personal protective equipment.
On Arrival/Meeting Point: Our Coaches will meet you in the space outside the bike shop. Please come to the outside counter. We ask that you socially distance while you wait.
Social Distancing: Social distancing is required to take place before, during and after the session. You are asked to stay 2m (roughly a bike length) from our coaches and other participants wherever possible. Where social distancing cannot be maintained safely you will be asked to wear a mask, unless medically exempt. Please note that whilst our coaches aim to remain socially distanced, it is recognised that this may not always be possible to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our participants. U12’s are not required to socially distance.
Wearing of Masks: If you are aged 12yrs and older you are requested to bring either a buff or mask with you each day. Our coaches will instruct you when to wear them. There is no requirement for U12’s to wear a mask.
Hand Sanitiser: If possible, please bring your own small bottle of hand sanitiser and carry it with you. There will be hand sanitiser available if you don’t have your own.
Helmet Check: We ask as far as possible that your helmet is fitted correctly. You will be asked to make any necessary changes to the fit of your helmet under the instruction of our coaches. If you are unable to do this yourself our coaches will use antibacterial hand sanitiser before and after adjusting your helmet.
Bike Checks: Please make sure your bike is in good working order prior to the session. At the start of the session our coaches will lead a bike check.
Mechanicals: Our coaches will use hand sanitiser and wear a face mask whilst touching your bike and carrying out any repair.
Snack Breaks: You will be asked to use hand sanitiser before and after eating any foods and our coaches will do the same.
First Aid: If our coaches must carry out any first aid, they will use hand sanitiser and wear a mask and gloves.
Gates: Our coaches will open and close gates. They will use hand sanitiser before and after doing so. You will be asked not touch gates or any other surface that may have shared contact.
