Comrie Croft Bikes – Mechanic Wanted

As a mechanic at Comrie Croft Bikes you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers repairs are carried out to a high standard. You will be a qualified and experienced bicycle mechanic, with knowledge of all aspects of modern bike repair and maintenance.  You will be an integral part of our small team, passionate about bikes and biking, and about helping others to get the very best out of cycling.

How you will be successful in your role:

We are recruiting a talented individual who can reinforce our existing team by bringing their skills and experience to help us manage a busy cycle repair business. Your organisational skills, diligence and dedication will help you manage your work diary. Your experience will allow you to analyse problems and carry out repairs to a high standard, in good time and with consistency

Role requirements:

  • Qualified Bicycle Mechanic – Cytech Level 2/Velotech Gold or above
  • Minimum one years’ experience working in a professional bike repair environment
  • Management of workshop jobs diary
  • Responsible for a well organised workshop, keeping a clean and tidy workspace
  • Liaising with the team to ensure spares and sundries are kept well stocked
  • Motivated and driven individual

Comrie Croft Bikes is an integral part of the award winning Comrie Croft tourist destination, located in beautiful Strathearn in the heart of Perthshire.

We are proud to be an independent Mountain Biking destination, with a highly rated 20km network of trails onsite, previous winner of the iBikeride UK Trail Centre of the Year award. Our site is home to our popular rental centre, busy local bike shop, professional repair and maintenance workshop and our growing guiding and coaching arm – Flowschool.

We are passionate about all aspects of the wonderful machines which are at the core of our business. It is our aim to provide all our customers and visitors with the highest level of satisfaction, whether they come for advice, service, coaching or to buy.
